Long Beach Township and one of the northern communities on Long Beach Island (LBI), Loveladies is situated between Harvey Cedars and Barnehat Light.North Beach is located between Surf City and Harvey Cedars. Long Beach Township consists of many towns which includes Loveladies, North Beach, Brant Beach, Brighton Beach, Pehala Park, The Dunes, Spray Beach, Haven Beach, Beach Haven Terrace, Beach Haven Park, Beach Haven Gardens, Beach Haven Crest, Holgate, North Beach Haven, South Beach Haven, and High Bar Harbor.  Loveladies is virtually all single family homes with the exception of  a real estate office, the Loveladies Tennis Club, a marina, and the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences. North Beach consists of all residential homes no commercial sites, Loveladies and North Beach and High Bar Harbor are located on the North End of Long Beach Island.
 
 Most homes located on the eastern side or Oceanblock,Oceanside or Oceanfront of Long Beach Boulevard are accessed via private easements. A large part of the western side Bayside, Bayblock, Bayfront or Lagoonfronts of Long Beach Boulevard is comprised of a waterfront community known as Loveladies Harbor Association. Loveladies is the least densely populated town on Long Beach Island with average lot size of 10,000 square feet usually 100 x 100 is standard exclusive of easements.
