A favorite destination for visitors and residents, Long Beach Island boasts several extraordinary communities to choose from.  It doesn’t matter if you are a single professional looking for your first home, a family looking for a vacation home, or seasoned investor interested in an exciting new venture – there’s a perfect spot for everyone.

Beach Haven is a historic LBI neighborhood, offering unprecedented access to the beach.  Spacious single-family homes in Victorian and Edwardian styles are located everywhere from the oceanfront to Oceanside, from the bayfront to the bayside, and residents are surrounded by the area’s most renowned recreational draws, including the famous Fantasy Island Amusement and Water Park, Surf Light Theatre which brings Broadway to LBI and afterwards stop by The Show Place Ice Cream Parlor. Located in the heart
of Beach Haven is a diverse array of dining, shopping, art galleries and Bay Village which has over 20 unique shops.

Surf City needs very little explanation.  The perfect place for the beach enthusiast, this laid back, relaxing community may be small, but features an eclectic array of beach properties –from single family oceanfronts / bayfronts and everything in between.  Surf City is in close proximity to all of the recreational features of LBI; The Surf City Yacht Club which offers sailing, boating of all types, and the Surf City Beach Patrol are two notable features of the community that draw many people to the waters. Along the Boulevard you will find plenty of dining, shopping, ice cream parlors, miniature and more.

Ship Bottom is known as the “Gateway to Long Beach Island”, because of the road that links LBI to the mainland.  Featuring incredible views of the ocean and bay, residents enjoy everything from fishing, boating, and the many recreational draws of LBI.  Many charming single-family homes – including those in the Cape Cod style, Contemporary oceanfront and bayfronts – are available in the area.

Harvey Cedars is located in one of the northern communities and is nestled between North Beach and Loveladies. This quiet, picturesque LBI neighborhood is brimming with quaint single-family homes. Located on modestly sized lots, these airy properties range from classic to modern, and most feature unbeatable locations by the oceanfront or bayfront, or lagoonfront, or even by the cove. Harvey Cedars is mostly residential homes  with only six blocks of fine dining, movie rentals, ice cream parlors and more. Harvey Cedars is home to countless activities of basketball, tennis, baseball, bay access and assorted events and concerts  provided by the Sunset Park recreational facility.

Loveladies is a residential haven in LBI with beautiful beaches, located between Harvey Cedars and Barnegat Light featuring expansive bay front and oceanfront homes on generously sized lots.  There is a welcome sense of privacy and exclusivity – it’s no wonder you’ll hear about many celebrities vacationing  and owning here in the summer. Loveladies is virtually all single family homes with the exception of a real estate office, an architect’s office, a marina, Loveladies Tennis Club and home to Long Beach Island Foundation of Arts & Sciences. A vibrant neighborhood for people of all ages. Some of LBI’s most spectacular homes are found in Loveladies and the surrounding areas.

Barnegat Light is the northern most community in LBI and has its own Borough. Barnegat Light is bordered by Loveladies and High Bar Harbor. Featuring incredible properties surrounded by impressive dunes and unbeatable vistas of the ocean and bay.  Single, multi-family, estate properties and even beautiful rental homes are located from the oceanfront to the bayfront, ocean block/oceanside  to the bayside/bayblock. Barnegat Light is mostly residential with a limited array of dining, shopping down near Viking Village and access to daily charter fishing boats and a limited marine commercial district offering plenty of fresh seafood. Barnegat Light is home to “Old Barney” Barnegat Lighthouse and Barnegat Light State Park.
